A Lil' About Myself :)

Greetings!

Firstly, a little bout' myself,

..... well my name is Jessica Ling, and I will be turning 20 at the end of this year. However, despite my young age many of my peers refer to me as mature and hardworking although I can be pretty playful at times.

Education wise, I am currently a student of Taylor's University. I took up International Business and Marketing(IBM) and will be graduating in 2 1/2 years time (hopefully!). I completed high school at the end of 2008 and decided to take up a Pre-U programme; South Australian Matriculation(SAM) in the year of 2009. After graduating, in 2010, I applied for a Bachelor of Law course in HELP University. This was due to a passion for law that had grown in me since childhood.
Main reason why I liked law was because I was said to have a very strong and forceful character by my peers. Stubborn at times but these were qualities most likely suited to being a lawyer. I would like to think I am very sociable and I love making new friends as well as traveling and exploring the world outside or within Malaysia. Once I set my mind on doing something, I won't get peace of mind until its done so I am a commited person. "Be the change you want to see in the world", one of my favourite quotes as I tend to be a perfectionist and this may slow me down at times which can be pretty annoying.

Unfortunately, after completing the first year of the course, I found it wasn't my cup of tea and decided to switch over to International Business and Marketing(IBM). Hence, this was why I finally decided to major the course that I am currently enrolled in, being Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in International and Business Marketing (IBM). To date, I am fully enjoying this course and have been told by many lecturers and peers that I was built for this. As most people say, "if you don't feel comfortable with what you're doing, why bother doing it?" I expect to complete this course on time in 2013, so that I can pursue a fruitful and illustrious career in the field that I have chosen.

Stay tuned! :)
